Free websites ?

Is there such a thing ?

What (if any) limits are there imposed ?

Does anyone on here run one ?

If so how time consuming are they regarding maintenance ?

I'm sometimes limited by my blogs limitations and having to delete threads to make room for new images.

I'm often wishing I could direct people to a website for viewings rather than facebook pages, other sites or the troublesome blog.

Anyone got answers ?

I have kept a large-ish website for quite a few years now, but nothing to do with photography. It started out as a free website, but I now pay a few pounds a month to keep it at its current size.

You wont get a www.domain-name.style web address and you will be subject to the hosting service running adverts on your site. But if you can live with that then so far so good. a friend of mine runs his site from a supplier in the Republic of Ireland who seem to be a lot cheaper than the US of A supplier of my web space, so instead of free, look for cheaper as an alternative :smiling: .
