Winter whites.

First light snowfall of winter here in Leicestershire and I went out early with my Fuji X-T1 to try it out on my personal passion of landscape photography. It came through with flying colours and I will have absolute confidence in using it fr this work in future.

The attached image is an unprocessed jpeg straight from camera using the Fuji Velvia settings.

Looks really well exposed and a great scene.

We had family over from Hinckley yesterday and they had a real steady drive home from Peterborough on the A47 but we just had a smattering of white on the grass followed by rain.

Was wb set to auto?

The whites look very good to me - and with snow pictures I find that difficult.

Average meter reading of the who;e scene and overexpose by 1 stop in this case.

WB set to sunny ( I think)
