What would we do had it not been for those amazing medieval architects, stone masons and builders. Scenes like this are a dream for photographers. Glad to see that you have taken in the whole scene in this well composed shot. I always make the mistake of isolating the main subject instead of showing it in the context of its surroundings.

Sobering factoid : all the main European cathedrals were begun and completed (excluding later additions) in the same century - apparently the labour involved meant that at least a QUARTER of Europe's population was involved at some point in the building.
