A Couple from my Friday night wander

Recommended Posts

Had a wander around Newcastle on Friday night, thought I'd stick a couple up.

The central motorway and Swan House roundabout.  Although Swan House is now called 55 degrees North.

I'm not sure about the B/W version but all three make me curious to look deeper into them - and just what is that at the top of the steps? Looks a little like privet hedging on top of a shed?

Whilst no.1 is the stand out I would love to have added a couple of people, maybe one leaning against the wall the other stood talking to them, on the right-hand side of the 2nd shot as there is some great atmosphere in there.

Its a box/privet type hedge, looks like it has been cut into a shape but has grown out.

They were both f16, 30 seconds, ISO 100 at 24mm, WB was set to cloudy so I've taken a lot of yellow out of the first one, any more and it seems to become too cold and clinical and I lose light trails (just learning to post process)
