The Castle

We had a lovely day at Warwick castle on Friday. Fuji will know it well.
I couldn't get enough wide angle with the 55-300 lens attached so I settled for getting a few interesting features of the castle.

I didn't do too well with the birds, so I was pleased that I was able to salvage a couple.

It looks just right with the Eagle frying over.

I'm with Herr Lumix on this one, number two is the top shot. The bird just transforms the image.

 

But is it flying or frying?

A great set Nanny,

I did quite a few demonstrations in Tudor costume in our neighbouring Warwick Castle, I used to know a few of the other re-enactors on the circuit.

The Armoury there still displays a couple of Cannon Balls, I found with a metal detector years ago.

I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I hadn't realized it was so big and how they had reconstructed the rooms and scenes.

I saw some of the ammunition on display in the armory, Fuj.

I got some pics of the armor etc. but could have done with flash and wasn't sure if I could use flash or not, but managed to salvage them for the memory of seeing them.

I want to go again, so we will be looking out for offers for next year.

I say next year because my daughters have to come and let Evie out in the garden as it's a long day to leave her.

One daughter has already been coming to the house every day to look after the ferret for two weeks while we were on holiday and the other daughter struggles as she is having trouble with her knee and waiting to see a specialist, so I think it is unfair to ask the again so soon.
