I keep looking at this. I really like the picture. It really does capture a sense of friendship to me. I am hooked by the boys face in the back ground. I get a sense that he is frustrated and wants to be in on goings on? And yes them eyes on the girl to the right are great.

I hadn't even noticed that. Do we sometimes look too hard for flaws?

Yeah probably but as someone who's highly prone to over-processing it really jumped out at me immediately. Sorry if it seemed picky.

No problem - it was such an awesome image I didn't even notice that halo. Perhaps on a lesser picture, I would have?

Thank you darren ,halo yes, artificial no , that is down to the light direction and any increase in contrast is going to emphasize it. I decided I could live with it to get the type of image I wanted in post processing.

 

Here is the original unprocessed raw image just to show it is the light, sometimes I think we look to much for reasons why rather than just enjoy the image for what it is.
