I am now 'with camera' once again  .

Took the plunge and purchased the Fuji X-T1, vastly different to my old 7D so it's gonna take some getting used to.

 

It arrived later than expected, so I'm stuck at work and desperate to have a play. The shots below are of a workman on site this morning, no real merits but at least I'm back to posting!

Very jealous of the camera but glad you're shooting again.

 

There is a very creep face in the window of the first shot to the right of his reflection above the wiggly lines.

Still getting to grips with the various system controls. I think a battery grip is on the cards though as it is quite small and fiddly.

I'm a little peeved because Fuji have just released a graphite silver version which looks awesome, it has a new firmware built in too. The firmware is to be rolled out for the black version before long, so all's good :)

What a co incidence I was talking to a guy on Sunday that has just sold all his canon gear and bought one of these, over the moon he was

Well not all his gear he was selling a 70 200 canon zoom but we couldnt agree on price he wanted a lincolnshire £900 I was prepared to push the boat out at a Yorkshire £40

Never mind fussing over the colour of the paint - get some overtime done and get some of those gorgeous little primes in your camera bag.
