Its the sky i think is burnt...

 

I've checked the image in PS and there are no blown highlights, although the shadows are lost in places but IMHO helps in this image :yes

 

There is however the odd dust bunny that needs attention  :innocent:

Thanks Phil, I know the sky isn't blown out, but I was aware of the DB, removed it and then posted the wrong one,---what an arse?

Landscapes in portrait don't usually work for me but I really like this one. I too think thwe sheep are a tad burned out but the whole composition really works for me.

Thanks Chrisy, Your right, the sky was so bright and the valley so dark I had to work a bit to bring the shadows out. Perhaps I could have used HDR? but I'm not too ken on it,

I just love the light in this Longman..........yourself and Pauln have the eye for the light.......this may not be perfect, but it is very, very close....... More please!
