The Penny Whistle Man

I tend to agree with Herr Lumix on this one - I think the image would be far stronger if it just concentrated on the man and his dog. Everything about them is just about spot-on, I love the low angle, but I keep being drawn to the board.

Is there a reason why you've posted two images? At first I thought they were different versions, but they both seem to be the same.

I agree - the chap (who I think I saw in Ludlow months ago when I was passing through, lovely place) is too close to the rhs of the image. The sign doesn't add anything to the image for me.

Great pose though and you really have both of their attention. Lose the lhs and possibly try a B&W conversion for fun, might be nice.
