COLUMBINE ON BLUE

Recommended Posts

I have been experimenting in the garden using my 45-200 zoom lens on the GX7, a perfect combination with bags of potential for creative photography.

Here you see a Columbine flower and a couple of buds against a blue background, the shot has been processed in my usual way using CS6 and Topaz filters.......the blue BG is simply the plastic tarp covering my circular saw.

Another of my ....Composed in-viewfinder....shots, so very little cropping, just a couple of intruding buds cloned out to emphasise the main subject:

Best viewed LARGE.....Click on Pic:

Now this one is lovely - the simple composition and the background work a treat. There's just one thing I can't understand, though.........

How the hell did you persuade the authorities to let you have a circular saw?
