Sunset over the sands

I was going to go out for a bike ride over the weekend but I had a soft tyre and my pump broke. I ended up having to drive into Lancaster for a new pump, only to get stuck in traffic due to an accident on the way back. I turned off and wended my way home by the scenic route. I cropped the bottom of these pics to get rid of the railings and the top to reduce the boring blue sky and balance the picture.

Well up to your usual standard Martyn! I bet you're glad you took the scenic route now (though is there anywhere round you that's NOT scenic lol?)

 

(Aaargh - something amiss with the forum software The NEXT and PREV buttons aren't showing :( I had to 'Close' each image then mouse down and click on the next one to open it :( )

Morecambe has some wonderful marine transport on the sands.
