But thats exactly what I did with the Lee ones I bought.

I put them in the boot so they would always be handy while I was out, pretty much left them there for over a year and ended up selling them - for about what I paid as it turns out.

 

If you do actually want to carry them and use them try wrapping them in the sort of sold cloth you'd clean a computer screen with. The Lee ones come in a cloth sleeve that goes in a harder case.

Ha-Ha, you may have a point - mine are currently in the boot of the car (with 2 tripods, 1 35mm SLR camera, 2 spare films, a reflector, some go-pro mounts, walking boots and waterproofs).

 

Thinking about it, the reflector is still in its package, and has been in various car boots for about 18 months - best sell it :-)
