These rather tatty looking boots were looking lovelorne and unwanted outside a local Charity Shop the other day............I have isolated them, then faffed about creatively using CS6 and TOPAZ filters:

Now then........ To be honest, Fooj, I think this is a little bland.

 

The subject is great, but I think it needs the kind of processing that will give it a bit of umph. I did download the image and had a twiddle, but as it's in mono I couldn't do much with it. Give us a sken at the colour version.

 

There's something about old boots and shoes that makes them great subjects for still life shots - in fact, you've given me an idea!
