Number 1 is lovely - the blurry background looks fantastic. The robin is a bit good an' all.

I agree with Richard - they'd benefit from being a little brighter. Or is it a another case of the images looking different once uploaded? I seem to get that quite often.

thanks guys.

they are dark, the light was really bad, I had the ISO set at 800, 1600 was more noisy than a brass band  playing in a mini!

suppose I could edit them but you know thats not the norm for me.

Least I finally got out with the camera and actually got to post something :)

A brilliant set Leon..........so sharp and well observed.........Cm'n get your editing hat on and have a go, just simple things at first, like .....Levels ......Exposure.............Curves ......and Sharpening......especially if you are shooting in RAW now.

No need for layers and brushes etc......just on the overall pic ......play with the sliders......enjoy the experience of seeing your results improve post camera.

cheers Fuji.

unfortunately wildlife shots are a NO NO with the 1000d in raw, gives me  1.5FPS, it only does 3FPS in JPEG I might have a fiddle with the little tits later :)  see if I can bring them to live without degrading the sharpness :)
