CANINE GRACE

As you all know, I am a cat person...... dogs aren’t always my favourite....but, occasionally one will stand out from all the others....

I have seen Ollie here develop from a very lively pup over the past three years, acquired as a lively companion for the late-great Diesel a huge German Shepherd of the gentlest temperament.

I made their acquaintance at a family party, Diesel chose to sit with me in a quieter part of the house away from most of the action, his huge head resting on my knee, as though we had been friends for life........ that was his way. 

I did post a few portraits of him on TIPF.

Very sadly he passed away almost two years ago; so only Ollie here was left....he too has matured into a similar kind of character, to the credit of his owners.

Great shots Fuji. The GS is such a loyal dog my mate had 5 at one point sadly down to 3 now which is one of the down side of the breed they don't live to the best of ages. They do sometimes get a bad reputation for being a big scary looking dog.
But then again its probably the little ankle biter that's more frightening. The look on the face is wonderful, it looks like its been told off but butter wouldn't melt....... the eyes say it all......it wasn't me I'm so cute.
