Just a little story to this one. I posted a picture of this small Shingleback a few weeks back, and we have seen him around quite a few times. About 3 weeks ago we went outside the front door, and there he was, on the path where we walked. He never moved, and when we got close we  noticed something near his eye. I got closer and saw a huge, horrible oat grass seed sticking out. He let me pick him up, and we could see the seed was stuck in his left eye, and there was blood. I tried, very gently, and was able to pull the seed out, and then we could see quite clearly that the pointy bit of the seed had stuck into the underside of his eyelid, which was very swollen and bleeding, and every time he blinked the 'fronds' of the seed would scrape across his eye, obscuring his vision. We put him down in our shade house and left him.

Went out to water yesterday afternoon an saw him on a flowerbed and grabbed him to have a look :

All OK!!!!   We reckon he said to himself  "I know, I'll go and sit in front of that woman - she'll sort it out!" Guess what we have named him - LUCKY
