Evie is a Poser

One week on and she is so settled and faithful already.
I have trimmed her beard, nose and fringe so that it keeps out of her eyes and doesn't get in her food while eating.
I will need to do between her paws and other essential bits and then gradually just trim her main coat just a bit to keep her tidy.
If she grows to thick in the summer then we will take her to be clipped to keep her cool.
She seems to be happy with me doing it. I have the proper dog safety scissors and watched videos on youtube last night.
There was one which gave you instructions on a cut to do at home just to keep them a bit tidy.
The fringe cut on the video was a chunky style like Evie's, so far so good, but here is the little lady doing some posing for me after our first clipping session this morning.

I wish my ferrets would pose like this for me. I can see I will be shooting lots of pics of this little poser.

She is cheeky, but is also an amazing little dog.

They are bred with an undershot jaw so we are seeing her teeth quite a lot.

I'm just glad that she is so happy and settled.

I've had to work it out so she goes into the kitchen for about 3 hours every night while the ferrets come out for their playtime.

Thankfully ferrets sleep a lot or we wouldn't have been able to have a dog, but they still need to come out and have some freedom as I can't bear the thought of caging them up continuously.

I cook dinner while she is in there so there is one or the other of us popping in and out.

I was lying on the floor for that one, Annie, I got down but it was a devil to get up again as I can't get on my knees first.
