Well that answered my question before I asked   :laughing:  Your patience with the cold paid off though, as it's a lovely shot. 

It certainly shows that winter is here too.

Nice. What interests me, is that the left tree is fully reflected in terms of what the eye can see of it above ground, while the right tree isn't (yes, I am allowing for the red reeds in front, which aren't fully reflected either.) Optical illusion?

I think it is an illusion, probably caused by the tree on the right being quite a bit further away from me. Although they look to be almost the same distance, the one on the right is about 40-50m further away.
