A before & after..

Remember the floods I photographed about 18 months ago? We regularly pass through the little town, which is still struggling, and recently there has been a geocache placed near the carved statue of a Swagman. This is it as I took the picture in Sept 2010:

And here is a closer look at the carved figure. It was done from a huge stump of a pine tree by a guy who specialised in carving with a chain saw. It has great character - and we enjoyed the geocaching connection too!:
