A new  car park being built in the place of demolished shops and hoardings has meant the erection of a long black barrier being set up to protect shoppers......it can make an ideal background for candid shots like this:

 

Folks in town, now know me as...the man with a camera...so I tend to get ignored, so am able to quickly frame shots like this one:

 

I couldn't help but think that my subjects look like a pair of Book-Ends, especially as the lady is reading a book:

 

Taken through an old Sigma Minolta-fit 17/30 Lens that cost me just £7.50 on Ebay because I was the only bidder...£5 plus P&P...a Bargain?

That's just about spot-on, Fooj. Have you given it a sort of soft and fuzzy look, or have I got Vaseline on my spex? Or is it the £8 lens. It's a lovely effect either way.

 

The way the couple are sat is just perfect - the man looks as if he's about to notice you any second.
