Another lovely portrait, Fooj. I like very much the Topazified version. The textures on the clothing stand out beautifully.

But.... Isn't there always a but?

It would have been better to have a little less space above the head and a bit more at the bottom so that all the hand is in shot. Just a minor nitpick, but worth mentioning.

Aha!.......You have both spotted my dilemma........having photographed a saxophonist previously I remember how difficult it is to make a full length figure look interesting.....so this, is pretty well uncropped at the bottom.....I wanted him to fill the frame.

Tomorrow I will try to remember to post the other shot of him full length ......... I was attempting to do the equivalent f an Album Cover or Publicity Shot.

As always I much appreciate constructive comments......... I have the same difficulty when shooting guitarists, the instrument looks odd if taken in full.....

CHEERS!

i like the topazed version it brings out the detailing beautifully.

having said that i prefer the cropped version also, i know i cant see the whole hand but i like the way you can see his face and the look of concentration on his face
