This is just fantastic. The poor girl asleep doesn't realise there is a perfectly good sleeping mat next to her. Love the lines and composition. It kept my gaze for a long time.

The shot works brilliantly well - the composition is spot on and the image tells a story about long and tedious journeys.

 

I just love the colour in this and I think a B&W version wouldn't work half as well.

Thank you for all the nice comments, I agonized over how to crop this shot for quite a while before settling on this image.

 

My guess is that judging by the mud on the girls tights and the unkempt hair they had been to a music festival over the BH weekend. They were later joined by a couple of lads.
