The hard task of a photographer

Just thought i would try and share what I have to go through when taking pictures of my little girl.  I was experimenting with a torch and a new 50mm 1.4 lens @ 1.4 with these images and could i get her to pose, no.   Well i got one decent shot after the bartering

 

Here she is, the girl with many faces  I thought i would do something with the bad ones.

 

 

 

This was the keeper but its a shame i didn't have the focus sharp on the eye closest to the camera.  I repositioned her so i had the fireplace as a background.

That said, I think it's a lovely montage made in fun and showing many sides of her expression

 

On the final image, I find it a bit bright, although the mono works really well. The blurred fireplace does lift the dead background without intruding, good thinking.

Oh yeah, i'll be showing this one and many more to her, I cant say the word because she isn't having one 

 

I upped the brightness in LR as I like that in my B&W images.  Its a love hate thing.

i adore the first one, its lovely to see a child being allowed to be a child ... fantastic set 

 

the second one appeals to me a little less, very pretty young girl but the background i still find distracting

I wish she would let me take more pictures of her.  Yeah the fireplace was the best thing i could use in the living room, maybe i should of close the aperture some more.
