The hard task of a photographer

Recommended Posts

Just thought i would try and share what I have to go through when taking pictures of my little girl.  I was experimenting with a torch and a new 50mm 1.4 lens @ 1.4 with these images and could i get her to pose, no.   Well i got one decent shot after the bartering :)

Here she is, the girl with many faces :)  I thought i would do something with the bad ones.

This was the keeper but its a shame i didn't have the focus sharp on the eye closest to the camera.  I repositioned her so i had the fireplace as a background.

She's gonna hate you when you show that to future boyfriends

That said, I think it's a lovely montage made in fun and showing many sides of her expression :)

On the final image, I find it a bit bright, although the mono works really well. The blurred fireplace does lift the dead background without intruding, good thinking.
