The Fishing Crow. Berkswell, Coventry.

Recommended Posts

A lucky day at Lavender Fishing Lakes and continuous shooting mode got me this sequence of a crow fishing for his dinner.
A man who was fishing on the lake said that he had never seen this happen in all the years that he had been fishing there.
I was only telling Fuji about it the other day and he said that I should post the pics. I had forgotten until I was scouting through my Photobucket albums for something else when I came upon them
They could have been sharper and more close, but it I had to quickly change the camera mode and grab the shots.
I surprised myself as I am not usually very quick on the draw.
These shots were from two or three years back and I can't even remember which camera I was using.
I emailed the pics to the people who run the place and they were really pleased.

Someone told me to send it to Country file which I did, Fuji. They emailed back to ask for details etc, but I never heard any more, so I guess it wasn't used.

I did read somewhere that crows sometimes fished, although I gathered that it didn't often happen.
I was just happy to get the shot and even happier that the continuous shooting mode worked well for me as I hadn't used it before.
