New bird feeder test

Just seeing how the positioning of the new bird feeder is going to work out.

Using the Sigma 150-500

No1  a pigeon, poor light as it's raining, full frame a little sharpening

No2  is taken lazy style, me sat on sofa with a cupa tea, thought double glazing glass, again poor-ish light, a little sharpening & cropped

I think if I can get the birds interested in the feeder, been slow going this week, I should be able to get some decent images in time

Planing on getting up real early tomorrow to see what's raiding the feeder early on, I was up at 5am for the smallest room in the house, and there was plenty feed 3X as much as in the feeder you see above by 8am the feeder was at the amount in the photo so I need to find out what's at the feed

We filled a big square garden tub with concrete, wrapped some polythene around the bottom of the pole and then put it in the middle of the tub.

Enough small rocks were put in the tub before the concrete was poured in to support the pole while the concrete set.

This way we can move it around the garden a bit.
