Overcoming the fear...

Jim Nix is someone I follow on YouTube, I like his tutorials and and I like his relaxed manner and I like his photography.

So here's one of Jim's Vlogs where he talks about sharing work and overcoming the fear or criticism.

The video is a little dark in places (it was filmed at dusk in Seattle), but it's the words that matter. It's well worth five minutes of your time.

I'm currently working on an image that will be called 'Backbone' and it's not the kind of thing I would normally post here. But after watching Jim's video, it might well make an appearance.

It's  a premise  we could all follow ... ... and the best reason  for me keeping  a photo has always been  that I have to like it or the image i can conjure up from it. Lookng for a different point of view is always a challenge ... one of the reasons i liked your swan so much was the POV...... Thanks for drawing attention to the video...   the message is simple innit ... ... :1311_thumbsup_tone2:
