Stop showing off...you know I can't do this.......lol!

Over the last couple of years or so I've looked at it and thought I'll never master that... I still have a way to go but it's a start. I understood from the weather forecast that rain was due today so I didn't go out as planned (it hasn't rained) I was bored and on impulse I started messing about with stacking... that's about it really. I will try something from outdoors in due course, but I'm not looking forward to lugging a tripod much, I hardly ever use it for photography... it's mostly used with a telescope when I'm birding.

Excellent examples and a crisp final image.

I really must find something like a tape measure to practise on. The clearly defined lines and writing give good focus points for each frame.

Down sizing to post here has killed the final image to be honest, it looks OK here but the quality of original surprised me a lot.

I still have that old snakes skin that phil said would be good to try stacking with. they reckon we have rain tomorrow so maybe I shall give it another go. I do have a macro rail but I have never worked out how to use that either!
