well thanks everyone.....I really thought it was not good enough, but I needed to let Fuji know I am trying.

tis the raynox on the lens giving me grief...the raynox has such a shallow depth on it's own, add it to the 75-300 and arghhhhhhhhhhhh!

well. if I have pleased Fuji I shall now have to soldier on....hopefully the wind will drop at some point and make life a little easier..

Annie, a few Bug hunters I know, use a smooth garden cane to wrap their camera fingers around, it is easy to slide the camera up and down, to sway one way or the other until the shot is framed, then you move camera and cane slowly back and forth until you get the Focus Confirm sign.

If you set your camera and flash to the figures I gave you recently your shots should be spot on.......The RAYNOX offeres a very shallow Depth of Field...you have done extremey well here:

Dont go leaning over to far and fall into the shrubbery now....will you?

lol Fuji....at least there are no lakes in the garden....and brian removed the pond, all I have now is tubs of water that even I can't into ...... I think!

I don't understand the cane...how do I wrap my fingers around cane and hold the camera?

thank you john....i really struggle with the combination of raynox and 75-300 lens even though i have been told it is 'do able'.....it all seems so clumsy and heavy.

I'll give my 70-300mm and Raynox a try one of these days.
