PEREGRINE FALCONS AGAIN

I have followed the fortunes of a  pair of Peregrine falcons using this Nottingham/Trent Universtiy observation nest for three years, this being my fourth.

It looks as if eggs are soon to be laid, this will be followed by weeks of patient sitting and egg-shuffling by both parents taking turns; the same goes for the feeding of chicks....pigeons are their main diet, but I have spotted other unfortunate prey too.

The video quality this year is the best yet, so well worth remembering to drop in to view every so often.......the young are amusing to watch especially as they get ever closer to fledging, by taking precarious walks along that ledge.

Nice one FUJI.  I hate pigeons but it’s good to hear they have some purpose.  

I remember your post(s) from a previous year. Good to see these guys are doing well.

Yes I remember you posting the link before .... i have watched them too because of that ..Fantastic to be able to watch them at such close quarters...it's like having your own private Spring Watch !
