A FREEZING SHOOT

Yesterday, I accompanied a photographer pal on a freezing cold, outdoor shoot.....I deliberately restricted myself to a 2.8-50 Vintage film lens to stretch my creative mono skills....whilst he enjoyed the challenge of full colour and  Auto-Focus.

For me 1 & 3, particularly the lighting "through" the sheep. For me the sky is a bit dead in number 2, not sure there's much could be done about it though.

The tonality rather reminds me of Ferrania P30 -- and it's hard not to lose the sky with that.

Thank you all....

James.....the sky that day was indeed, as dead as a dodo.....my accompanying pal said he was going to Photoshop a decent one in later.....I don’t need to because that view is ten minutes from my door, so I can return at any time.....see my recent very similar post from the same place.

it just happens that he had a chance in his busy work schedule to do a shoot just at that time, so we made the best of it.

It also led to me studying a barbed wire fence.

I much appreciate all observations.....they all go to motivate my old brainbox.
