Ya know summat, Fooj, I'm really not sure about this.

I can't figure out if it's the processing or the crop or the subject, but there's something that jars and prevents me from giving it the big thumbs-up.

Anyone else?

Very  interesting responses, which I half expected.....my chosen processing was on the gritty side of film.....I have been learning about, the way that film used to be available according to grain/ISO ......I have made an extensive study of the way that mono portraits were produced pre-digital...... I didn’t use a ...Film Filter ....from Silver Efex, but created my own, to give my original RAW colour Study a bit of an edge.

The pic has caused a bit of a stir on my other forum too....to me, that is good .......

A bit of a Marmite study methinks?

I like it.

Anyone else get a similar feeling?  All feedback/response very welcome.
