Ah yes they get everywhere. John & Joseph's Father emigrated from  Armagh in 1841, there are a lot of Furphys in Armagh, my better half being one until he was lured away by the bright lights of London LOL!!!

Joseph Furphy aka John Collins seems to have made a name for himself as well
