Another Strap

You may recall I have done some work with a leather craftsman as he develops a range of premium camera straps. There was a previous Kickstarter launch that wasn't successful so he went back to the drawing board and has upped his game - the result of which he dropped off at mine yesterday.

These aren't live yet but all the packaging and materials are ready for a launch very soon. This then is a sneaky peek before the final photographs are shot and they go out into the wider world....

The leather is amazing, the copper fittings are a little different to the more typical ones you find and I have to say it looks very good on my Fuji.

Since winning and still sniffing the leather strap I won on here, I have really begun to appreciate the difference they can make.

Mine rarely twists, usually just once which is easily spotted and very quick to deal with, the wide shoulder pad helps with weight distribution too.

The only drawback, if you can call it that is that they do add bulk in a Camera bag...oh yes!.....and great care is required as to where and how you put your camera with strap down.....the strap is liable to untwist to hand over table edge.

Wouldnt be without mine now.
