Dougie Wallace eh? Nothing wrong with his photogaphic skills.....but, he is...

A controversial Street Photographer; who, because of his.....up your nose....in your face.....damn how you might feel....pushy approach could get polite Street photographers like myself a bad name plus many refusals or even aggression.

Dont get me wrong his work is very edgy......bringing into the light, the over-made up....couldn't care less super-rich of London......recording the absolute sleaze and depravity of what passes as a good time nowaday, the, pre-nuptial celebrations are sick making......at least he exposes them, in more ways than one......then.......others might take him to task, by having to travel all the way to India to poke his lens into private taxis and mini-buses etc; thereby exploiting unsuspecting passengers... he wouldn't  get away with it like that here.

He is a regular speaker at many photographic clubs, including more than one locally.....His manner and language can be very ripe.....

Or, or.........Am I just an old fashioned, past it, old fuddy-duddy??

I just wonder what kind of a world our grandchildren are about to inherit?

I can and do shoot candid shots of folk who are totally unaware ....I can and do get very close to unsuspecting subjects.....but...I always request permission for more formal Street Portraits, always offering my card, contact details and a free copy.
