Leopards (taken through glass)

Recommended Posts

Yesterday I had a ride up to the South Lakes Zoo with the kids.

I now have a 1,4X converter to go with the 70-200 F4L  it's brilliant for outdoor use, equivalent to 450 (ish)MM now so I can get really close, and it's super sharp when I stop wobbling!!

just a shame we have to see these animals in cages :(

It is, but the zoos do some excellent conservation work so I guess we must make allowances.

These look pretty good for through glass shots :1310_thumbsup_tone1:

Better alive in a Zoo than stuffed on a plinth, Leon.

very true.

and with all the negative publicity the South lakes Zoo have had this year I think all the animals there (especially the endangered ones) will have extra special care :)
