Here are some pictures that will interest the bird fanciers, although all the birds had a rather pathetic loook, like 'I'm wet!!'. All taken within a nice walk through aviary at Healesville Sanctuary. Doing this in two posts as I have soooo much trouble with Photobucket today, I'm sick of it!!:

 

A Stone Curlew, or, now know as  Bush Thick Knee:

A King Parrot - we used to have heaps of these around when we lived in that area, yes, he has rain on his feathers too:

and this Redtailed Black Cockatoo just steadfastly refused to open his eyes!!:

Wish I could have got more, but most of the ground birds were sheltering from the rain!
