Drifting in Mono

Motor sport has never really grabbed me - I tried to get interested in F1, but ended up thinking it was just fast cars going round and round. And round.

However, there's shedloads of drama in this shot and the mono treatment suits it brilliantly. I like it!

I have to say, I really enjoy motor racing. F1 is right up my street and I have been to quite a few British GP's. I don't tend to do  loads of motor sport photography though.  :14_relaxed:

Thanks for the comment, much appreciated!  I think the smoke helps with the drama. :1310_thumbsup_tone1:

Agree with Lord K on this ... I enjoy motor sports ... But never usually find the photos I see convey the real drama ... This one does.... Nice execution  too Kev ..

Many thanks Polly.  :5_smiley:

I guess conveying the drama with any image is a challenge?

Looks much better in mono Kev - not something I say a lot either!

That's what I thought when I converted the image to black and white.  Thanks for looking and commenting.
