Harthill reservoir at sunset

These images were from a walk around Harthill Reservoir last week, just before sundown. It was a cool, clear evening, perfect for a breath of fresh air. The B&W of the path in the trees was by accident as I had previously set the camera for the shot of the music I used with the One a week in 2017 challenge. I then took the same shot with full colour and preferred the monochrome, it emphasises the lines of the branches I think.

I like the set, for me #4 & 5 are particularly nice.

Nice set KC  but # 5  is a memorable one  for me... the wobble in the path  makes it even  better and the  trees are  like  skeleton sentinels from a Grimms Fairy Tale .. .
