I think this is possibly the first picture I have posted outside of the Challenges & Fun section and seeing as I have already posted my daily pic I thought I would share.

It was taken for a 52 challenge in a parallel universe I live in.

Clever use of the shadow Si  to add to the balance ... I 'm a big fan of texture being added to an image especially where still life is concerned...... So I was always going to be attracted to this type of image.   I think I 'd quite like something else written  on the letter  .. Maybe a date if it was to suggest the era  or the start of the letter .with something like

" I am really sorry    ".  Or something similar   . 

If I was to be ultra picky ... And I'm not . I might be inclined to lower or raise the horizon of the desk by an inch or so so that the image wasn't split into two almost equal areas .  Just an opinion ... But I really like it ... It conjures up a story in my head.

Would it be better for the whole of the shadow to be within the frame?
