BEST PRINTER FOR EVENT PHOTO PRINTING?

Recommended Posts

Not sure where to find some good answers so lets start with you guys and gals.

I keep getting requests for photo and print at local events.

I have in the past gone, taken pictures then uploaded to my web site and sold/printed off later. Not the best method so I thought I would look at 'on site' print options, good quality and I think A4 would be big enough.

Any ideas advice?

If you plan and doing this often then it's often recommended that one of the Dyesub printers is a better choice than an inkjet. Don't know what they cost though, to buy or run but assume the long term running costs must be lower than inkjet for it to be recommended so often.

Its good enough as i know but it costs around 600$

Hi there MA322

Welcome to the forum There is a welcome center just lower than the image section That is if you want to say hi, its not compulsory

Ink jets are great if you are using them on a regular basis but then it cost you on ink and some of the substitute inks are  nothing like a direct comparison to OE cartridges

If not used regular the ink jet becomes an ink and the jet goes missing as in blocked and then it can be a devils job to get flowing again
