I fully agree with Herr Lumix - DOF far too shallow in shot one, the compo seems all wrong to me as well. But.....

Number two is great. Lovely and gritty and contrasty and I just love the text written on the wall. A great example of the wabi-sabi approach that Cheryl mentioned a few days ago.
