The latest updates for Topaz Adjust and Simplify are now available for licence holders. One of the benefits of Topaz is the free lifetime updates. The ongoing development of the software is pretty good.

It certainly is if you buy it in one chunk.  Topaz offer discounts every other month. I kept my eye open for these.  I think with the ongoing development it has left its old rival NIK way behind.

I think it depends very much which modules you use? Probably Topaz beats Nik Color Efex no problem, but there are things in Nik like Analogue Pro which aren't in Topaz (old wet plate simulations for a start) and Silver Efex is still the king of mono conversions. However, botth can be tweaked endlessly by the user so there's not much in it I'd say. And Nik is free which is a BIG plus!

The point is you probably do not need all of it just the bits that are useful to you, I think Topaz works much better that Nik.

Well Topaz Lens Effects will help you here.

Not sure about silver efex being king mind you.

Anyway, I did not want to start a NIK / Topaz war.   I have both.

I just wanted to mention the upgrades if there are any licence holders here.

I have Topaz Adjust and their monochrome set in Elements, and the full Nik suite in CS6. Both seem to me a long way ahead of their rivals such as Perfect, On One, Photodirector etc.
