Bird bath visitors.

Our bird bath has been very busy today, and I was able to get a few shots through the window just to show you. It's the Brown Headed Honeyeaters again, and they are very twitchy and fast moving, but obviously quite reliant on us for the regular supply of drinking and bathing water:

The first ones arrive:

a few seconds later it was 'all in':

Caught them actually bathing!:

A few minutes later another one arrived and this is how they look before getting wet:

Fluffed himself up ready for the dip:

A split second later he looked like this:

and then I was lucky enough to get him just as he launched for a second dip!

Just a bit of fun, hope you enjoy looking :D

Fuzzy they are a bit like finches, and some can look greener than others. Sorry about the 'tatty' background to these pictures, but the bird water is there specifically because it is in shade and shelter for most of the day, and we can see it from our 'puter room window very easily!
