CORNERED

Spotted in Coventry Retail Market this afternoon.....because of difficult shooting conditions I have given it an  old film look:

I love the way the poor man looks trapped in that corner, and the way his eyes appear to be pleading for rescue.

He looks to be sat down? That bar seems in an awkward position for the chap though?

You have it Kev........he is sitting down enjoying a beverage in the Market Cafe......that heavy barrier/handrail surrounds the seating area......he just happens to be sitting in the corner seat.

The pic looks very strange because of my chosen angle.........Going to 2:58 on this video will instantly clarify things.

Thank you folks......

My mam was born in Spon-End the Medieval then later the Watch-Making and Ribbon-Weaving area of the City......My Auntie....Gladys Proctor.....sold ladie's underwear in the  old Retail Market then the later circular one featured in this excellent production.

Always a pleasure to explore, full of life and characters, from all over......we discovered the best pork-pies we've tasted for a long time there yesterday....

Which is why I became very upset and angry when the powers that be in the shopping arcade just outside one of the exits, removed me for taking photographs....I never returned for almost two years.
