Shade of Grey - After and Before

Slightly the opposite away around, this is the after shot after a slight adjustment to the whites, midtones and darks, cropped square with the white border..

I took this on Sunday whilst in Bury

And here is the original image I took, so you know what I'm looking at, as you can see it's just a row of interlocking metal fencing that they'd been using for the 10k Fun Run that day, I always make sure I have enough room to crop down to square.. This was done for the Shades of Grey Challenge I set myself to find 100 abstract images that wer mainly grey without needing converting to monochrome.

Thanks Kev, it's been a most interesting challenge so far, when I saw these fences I was already composing the shot in my head and looking at the crop I might have to do when cropped square I think BP and Paul mentioned these things in a couple of previous posrs
