Pine Cones

I don't post much of my texture work on TIPF, but I thought I'd give this one an outing in the hope that it might encourage other texturisers to post their work - Clicker and Barbara produce some good stuff and we see very little of it. Hope you two are reading this!

The pine cones were photographed in Cyprus at the top of a climb called Pouziaris (The Mountain of the Entrails) and was blended with two textures from a gentleman called Joel Olives - his freebies are well worth a download.

That's lovely Korks ...love the simplicity and  the clever composition  and the colours..I t looks familiar ...did you use these cones in a frosty blue coloured version before ?.. I have been sneaking a few more textured  compositions on to one a day challenge  but wasn't really sure if I should keep them to the Digimanip  cellar  Forum.... ;) just  teasin' peeps ... But maybe now I can come out of the closet more often ...  Thanks for the info about Joel Olives textures. I collect them like free carrier bags ...  Infinitely useful !

I'll spend hours playing with a portrait or landscape in LR or PS but I quickly lose patience when it comes to working with textures.

I love seeing your work and it's something you excel at, you must keep 'em coming!
