Paul you have ....cracked it.......the GX7 is doing its stuff......I can't fault mine.

'This is a very beautiful portrait of a pooch.

I know you haven't......but......a little push processing would add light, clarity+, texture and targeted sharpness.......but you know that already ;-))

More  like this please........it is good to be influenced by a Master.

Thanks for the compliment Fuji.:smiling:

I have to disagree about the push processing and adding clarity and sharpness, a pure white dog in direct sunlight is a night mare to keep detail from blowing and adding this would be detrimental to the detail in the whites. As you can see from the crop sharp focus is in one area the nearest  eye where I wantd which has plenty of detail and I would lose that.

Oooh Paul ... tis one of your best... glorious dof acquired there..Looks like he was stood in a little dappled  sunlight and shadow which has added to  it for me.  Nice work again ...;)

Thank you Polly. And yes you are right for a few seconds before he moved he was in a mixture of direct sunlight (his head) and the rest in dappled sunlight,I guess I got lucky,:smiling:
