Another from my  mono Silhouette series....the though for these came as I spotted crows or  jackdaws on the branch of an ancient oak tree, dead against the light of the sun diffused by clouds.

Because I was using that Vintage 4-100 mm Vintage lens, I wasn't that sure about focus because the focus confirmation glow wasn't visible in viewfinder or on the lcd, the light was too bright.

It turns out, I had it nailed hence my creation of silhouettes from shots that, in colour were practically unusable....they do remind me strongly of William Morris tile designs:

I would love to see them on cushions.

It demonstrates what can be done using a Vintage lens plus a little creative intervention in NIK SILVER EFEX.

The response to both of my bird silhouettes has been extremely interesting.....

A marmite reaction, across the board......from TIPF, my other forum, and from my ex pro pal, who likes one of them.

Regardless, both have been posted on Redbubble as Tee shirt and Cushion cover designs......I await results with interest......if there are ant that is ;-))
