Chinese New Year

As it's on the way and a good opportunity for photography, I thought I would post a pic of this little chap, that I shot(with his dads permission) at a previous Chinese new year celebrations in Coventry.

He looked so sweet in the traditional costume.

I love the way that the Chinese people in Coventry and in  Birmingham include everyone, not just there own kind, in their festivities. We always enjoy it.

We've been to the Birmingham one for about three years running as they put on such a good show, but it's quite hard trying to get through the crowds of trying to shoot above heads as there are so many there, so we may go to the Coventry one this year which isn't as packed.

It depends on how John is on the day and the weather of course as we are getting older and not worth freezing or getting a soaking.

Number 1 is a cropped and warmed version of number 2, which I did to show off the clothes that he was wearing and his face.

I needed to get rid of the blue cast as it was all under a bluish tinged glass which you can see in 2..
