Old & Unloved...

"Oh! The poor poor man" I thought,  on seeing the title........our poor old Korky is fishing for sympathy as he enters his senior years.

Then, I realised  he was referring to the abandoned truck in a hedge.

Being serious now.....I must admit to not liking the ...Fractulus?......and similar filters, when used as heavily as this.....Sorry Korks!

Nix problemos, Fooj.

I liked the feel of the truck being taken over by the vegetation and so tried to accentuate that. I'm quite taken by the way the leaves have a sense of slow movement. Or perhaps it's the result of last night's alcohol. Who knows?

Not everyone's cup of cappuccino, I realise, but at least it's not a duck!

It was done with Topaz Impression and a preset that I invented one miserable night when the wind blew hard and the rain lashed against the kitchen window. I heard a knock at the door and a deep chill ran through me as I realised......... Sorry, wrong thread!

I think I might move this one to the folder that reads 'Not quite as successful as I first imagined - but at least it's not another duck'.

To be honest (and serious for a moment), I don't agree with either of you (two and a half of you?) and feel that not only was it well worth taking the shot, it was worth the processing, too. My error of judgement was posting it here, I'm afraid.

See y'all next Sunday for the 52!
